1、品種選擇

(1)生長空間要求：長毛兔生長速度很快，所以養(yǎng)殖時，一籠一兔，為其提供足夠的生活空間。

(2)分籠管理：當母兔懷孕后，一定要把母兔和公兔分開飼養(yǎng)，以免給兔媽媽造成過多的負擔。

長毛兔生長期間，可用生雞蛋、韭菜加黃豆、酒加姜、胱氨酸、魚肝油或其他微量元素進行催毛。待長到3個月時，就可進行一次采毛，一般成年兔一年拔毛一次，采毛兩次，所以采毛時要掌控好時間，以提高兔毛的生長。采摘下來的兔毛盡量分批次包裝，以提高 養(yǎng)殖效益。
